Had me going from place to place to to get money out of ATMs for gift cards for $1,000, business wouldn't do it because of fraud. Got $200 out of ATM. Wanted me to stay on the phone and not hang up after I figured out something wasn't right went to my bank 35Miles away till I got to my bank an hour and a half later then they hung up.

User's recommendation: Don't buy vanilla gift cards.

Card issue

Money was scammed out of card before I even used it. The card was on me the entire time. Company will not issue a refund.

I bought a 25.00 gift card in which did not work after buying it I checked the balance online, and it stated when It would be available. Bought a pack of cigarettes and then the card wouldn't work. Called their customer service, and they stated that the card was compromised off of their own website and that they would have to send a new card 7-10 business days, or I could pay 8.95 for expedited shipping. This company is scamming to hold customers money because they make money off of yours due to interest. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone

Ive had two bad gift cards that was intercepted by a gambling illegal site and still waiting to again get my 441 back after you replaced the first one I do not gamble

Second vanilla card

My niece give me a vanilla card for my birthday for $100, and I try active the card, it let me know that I only had $1.99. I called Vanilla customer service and I let them know what happened, and they told I have to a report and it my take about 4 to 6 months and my maybe they will replace my card. I never hard anything back, and then I got a replacement card on the mail card about a month an ago. I activated this new card this past Friday 9-23-22, I try to use it on a store and I only had $10 not $100. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!

Dispute Issues

I received a gift card as a gift from my company last Christmas. I went to use it for the first time in February and there were only four dollars on the card. I have been calling to dispute the charges. Since March up until July I have had this issue be unresolved. In July I was told that my dispute was excepted and I would be getting a check in the mail, a month later still havent received it. I called to request an update and now I have to fill out a whole other dispute packet since I wasnt the owner of the card and it was gifted to me. So I still dont have gift card access and the issue is still unresolved. I have to wait another 90 days+ from what I was told. Again. By the time I resolve the issue, itll be a year of me having this gift card without being able to use it.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I wanted to get my card activated that’s all I need now my card can’t be damage card never i will never understand.

I need my card just activated

I'd like to find out where my gift card was used after i activated it

I was told that a purchase was made on my $40 vanilla birthday gift card, from gen c packaging it was not my purchase I had never used the card when I activated it, I went to the dog groomers with it and another one that was $50 the total came to $76 and some change so the groomer did the $50 card first and took the balance of the $40 he also thought it went through he gave me a receipt with a balance of $17 and some change he called me back the next day and said it only registered $1 off the card he thought it was his machine so I called the customer service and they said a purchase was made on August 6 but we checked the balance on the 17th so how can this happen and can you find out who made the purchase and where it was shipped and refund my money I would be extremely grateful. Called the 833-322-**** to activate the Vanilla Debit Visa like it says to do and a woman charged this $50 gift card $49.99. The company name is MollieGoodRo. I was going to use this gift card for gas for my car and my Gas bill. Now I have to wait 7 days to dispute it. What am I going to do if my gas gets shut off???

My money disappeared!!!!!!!

Well trying to buy a ticket do not I was denied to use my vanilla gift card and then all of a sudden on September 18th vanilla gift customer service release $275 of my money to Greyhound bus service without any of my permission whatsoever now I'm fighting to receive my money back and going through a bunch of changes just to retrieve my money back to my card this is not right none whatsoever this should not happen to anyone and the problem should be fixed immediately work needs to be done so this cannot happen ever again to anyone get yourself together vanilla gift card customer service

User's recommendation: Advise anyone that uses vanilla gift card to stay on top of your transactions and continue to check them now and then to find out if anything is missing of your card because I was not even aware that my money was taken until I tried to go and purchase something from the store just to find out all my money was gone I mean $300 gift card I was only able to spend $26 now I have $0 and trying to get my money back do not allow them to take from your card without your permission always keep up tracks on your card at all times word from the wise word from the wise.

Well i bought a gift card for $300.00 and it was taken without me knowing and i went to use it and my vanilla said there was an issue

i bought a my vanilla gift card So I called my vanilla and I tried to set a pin for my gift card Well they my vanilla told me there was an issue with the card And that's all they said Who is the electronic computer voices you know Anyway I had called them and asked and waited and put on hold of course and asked them what the problem was And they said a woman Had claim the card with hers I said oh really Well I bought it and I have the receipt and the card and everything Anyway She they gave me her address and her first name Her name was Rosa at three border Avenue Simpsonville South Carolina 29680 Okay so So they asked me if I knew Rosa I said no I do not And Said I don't know why you're holding my cards they told me that I would have to get a form which they would send me in five business days to fill out And this was under you know They would decide then who owned the who's the owner of the card So I said really and they gave me a case number which was 5060-**** I had never heard a word from them In 5 business days I had called a few times to inquire what is the holdup because I'd already sent them proof of my address of my buying the card the receipt which has my mailing address on it because it's in the same town I live in Pennsylvania not South Carolina Okay so anyway I called last night my vanilla and they waited to get somebody I could talk to you And the woman that told me they had awarded her new card isn't that something that someone can steal your card and get away with it through my vanilla company which no one ever contacted me about any of it which I inquired and sent every day wondering what was going on no one got back to me Well last night when I called she put me on hold the operator did and then conveniently hung up on me That's when I got a hold of You know *** consumer because I am a pissed consumer when somebody can steal your card and they give a thief your card which was $300 of my money to and pissed yes I'm a pissed Consumer Okay thank you You tell me what's right and what's wrong right This is *** i sent them proof and they didnt even contact me just gave her my card you would be pissed to !!! as i am!!!

Stolen card

Received a Vanilla card as a gift. When I tried to use it I found out that it had already been used in Phoenix AZ (I live in NJ and have never been to Arizona). Have been waiting for a response since June. Web site always reports "error, try again later". This is starting to sound like a scam.

Never Received Card

Vanilla Gift - Never Received Card
I bought an e-gift card from Vanilla Gift 5 days ago. The took the money from my account but never sent the card. Tried calling customer service, its taken a minimum of 20 minutes each ti e Roger someone on the line. All they keep saying is they cant find the account.
